You can charter your very own private passenger car for a few hours or an entire day! If you're looking for an interesting wedding, party, reception, birthday, or celebration venue, we're excited to offer Centlivre Park, Car 5735, Roanoke, or the Kitchi Gammi Club for a special outing. Onboard service amenities and staff can tailored to your desired experience and cars can be chartered on existing scheduled events, in stationary use at our Pleasant Lake station, or as part of your very own operating train! Nearly any car in our fleet is available for charter, but these cars are meant exclusively for private parties and exclusive use by larger groups. Whether you’re seeking a small, quiet gathering or hosting a larger celebration, you can make tracks aboard these private cars.
CENTLIVRE PARK & CAR 5735
The Centlivre Park and Lawton Park are special open window cars that can accommodate 32 and 28 guests, respectively. These cars are ideal for larger parties and are equipped with breezy open Dutch doors, generous open windows, restrooms, bar space, couches, lounge chairs, and tabletop seating. Cigar smoking is permitted inside these cars during select events only. These cars are not climate-controlled.
ROANOKE
The Roanoke lets guests ride like a railroad president or celebrity, with its open platform, dining room, and solarium, this car is great for hosting small gatherings of up to 20 guests. The car features a full kitchen, two restrooms, and two private suites.
KITCHI GAMMI CLUB / NKP NO. 7
The Kitchi Gammi Club is our train’s passenger car. Amtrak-certified for travel anywhere in the United States, it features seating for 10 guests in the Pullman Buffet Sections, 10 guests in the Solarium Lounge, and can sleep 10 overnight guests in the berth sections. With two restrooms and a fully-outfitted kitchen, the Kitchi Gammi Club is great for hosting intimate parties or cross-country adventures.
Inquiries should be made through the ticket agent. All requests for Amtrak charters must be made at least 90 days ahead of the desired date of travel.

Looking for a unique outing for your employees or company? In addition to chartering individual passenger cars, our train set is available for private functions and events with space for up to 300 passengers. We’ll work with you to plan a route and experience that will suit your vision best.
Contact our ticket agent with details about your request and the desired time, date, and duration. All requests for chartered train sets, operations, and locomotives will be subject to railroad approval. Availability is extremely limited.
