Revel in a summer evening train ride departing Angola, Indiana! Tickets include drinks from 6 Autumns Food & Spirits, a selection of cigars in our Cigar Car from Rudy’s Cigar Shop, and entertainment from our in-house band, the Baggage Car Boys. This event will be steam-powered in one direction.

Following a pre-departure drink reception at 5:00 PM, the train will leave Angola at 6:00 PM and operate south toward Hamilton, Indiana, perform a photo runby for passengers, and return to Angola around 9:00 PM. Smoking is only permitted in designated cars. Scroll below to view accommodations and book now!

Guests may take drinks aboard the train and purchase additional drinks at the station prior to departure. Due to current regulations, drink service is not available once the train departs the station.

Guests may also charter our private cars Woodland Stream or Roanoke for an exclusive experience for groups of 15-20 passengers.

What to expect

Riding aboard a vintage train can be an exciting and memorable occasion. Our events are meant to be sensory experiences – from the onboard accommodations and food service to the dramatic sights and sounds of a historic locomotive pulling the train. Passengers can enjoy standard accommodations in our open window coach or regular deluxe coach classes, or opt for a special experience on our open-air car or within our first-class lounge cars straight out of the 1940s and 50s. With the exception of our open window and open-air cars, all cars are climate controlled and restrooms are available on board throughout our train set. ACCOMMODATIONS

Deluxe Coach | $85.00

Seating in the Collinsville Inn (No. 148), Franklin Inn (No. 142), or Norrisville Inn, (No. 147), these deluxe coaches feature reclining chairs, and open vestibules. Your ticket includes appetizers and two complimentary drinks. Seats are reserved for passengers 21-years-of-age or older.

With its four open baggage doors, the John H. Emery allows passengers to experience the sights and sounds of historic steam railroading at speed and also enjoy a cigar at the same time! Your ticket includes appetizers and two complimentary drinks. Seats are reserved for passengers 21-years-of-age or older. PLEASE NOTE: This car is standing-room only and is not air-conditioned.

First-class accommodations in the Silver Diner, 1950s dining car parlor car originally built for the California Zephyr and later upgraded and operated by Amtrak.
