Celebrate the return of a hometown landmark during Pleasant Lake Days with a family-friendly Ice Cream Train aboard a vintage passenger train!

The historic Pleasant Lake railroad depot opens to visitors at 10:00 AM for free tours and exhibits. Beginning at 1:00 PM, passengers can enjoy complimentary ice cream and classic summertime fun aboard a vintage train as they ride the rails through the Indiana countryside on a round-trip excursion departing from the newly restored depot.

Delight in a breezy, nostalgic diesel-powered train ride that pairs perfectly with the town’s annual small-town celebration.

Ticket sales begin July 16th at 6:00 PM. Refresh your browser to ensure you’re getting the most up-to-date information.

Explore the festival before or after your ride, including a parade, railroad co-sponsored fireworks, food trucks, car show, kids’ activities, and a free open house and tours of the depot, which has been newly restored thanks to community support and generous donations.

THE OFFERINGS

Deluxe Coach, Festival Seats, Lounge, and Family Tables, which can seat four guests each, are available.

Children three years of age and younger who do not occupy a seat ride free in Deluxe Coach only.

Lounge tickets are reserved for guests 18 years of age or older.

Family Table Tickets can accommodate a maximum of four guests per table, and additional single tickets cannot be added. For additional seats, guests must purchase an additional Dining Car Table.

All tickets are individually priced unless specifically referenced or otherwise marked. ADA-specific seats are available in Deluxe Coach only.

Passengers may bring their own personal food and non-alcoholic drinks. Pets are not permitted, but service animals are welcome.

• Delivery: Tickets are emailed instantly upon purchase. Check your spam folder, but also ensure you enter your email correctly when ordering.

• Boarding Info: Parking and safety details are included in your confirmation email. Save it. We’ll also send reminders.

• Travel Together: To sit with friends, please book under one reservation.

• Refunds: Available 30+ days before travel. Credits offered for late cancellations.

• Provisions: Passengers may bring personal food and non-alcoholic refreshments.
• Pets: Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets at home.
• Accessibility: Due to their historic nature, only select cars are ADA accessible. They’re listed in the ticket selection screen.
