A brief stop allows the locomotives to reposition for the return trip.

Pack your picnic and climb aboard! Gather your family and friends for a relaxing summer outing aboard a vintage, diesel-powered roundtrip timed to coincide with sunset’s magic hour.

You’ll enjoy your own self-prepared picnic right on board as the countryside rolls by. Select cars are reserved for guests 21-and-over and for guests seeking an elevated experience, book a ticket in our exclusive Acres Away Wine Class for complimentary wine tastings during your trip.

THE OFFERINGS

These trips do not include layovers or stops.

Tickets include Child and Adult seating in Deluxe Coach, Table Seats, Open Window Seats, and Wine Car seats for guests 21-and-Over. A private Pullman Car is also available for charter for groups of up to 20 people.

All excursions are roundtrips. Guests are responsible for bringing their own food and picnic supplies.

Boarding Info: Parking and safety details are included in your confirmation email. Save it. We’ll also send reminders.
Travel Together: To sit with friends, please book under one reservation.
Refunds: Available 30+ days before travel. Credits offered for late cancellations.
Provisions: Passengers may bring personal food and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Pets: Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets at home.
Accessibility: Due to their historic nature, only select cars are ADA accessible. They’re listed in the ticket selection screen.
