THE EXPERIENCE

Beat the heat and enjoy complimentary ice cream from Scoops Ice Cream on a train ride through the Indiana countryside!

All trips on July 5th will feature historic Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive No. 765. All other trips will be operated exclusively by a vintage diesel locomotive.

These family-friendly, round-trip passenger trains depart downtown Angola several times daily. They feature a variety of seating for passengers of all ages and select seating reserved especially for adult guests.

For all departures from Angola, trains typically operate north toward the Fremont or south toward Steubenville.

Additional Ice Cream Train tickets celebrating local town festivals will also be released this summer, including: Edon Days Ice Cream Train on August 7th and and Pleasant Lake Days Ice Cream Train on August 8th.

THE OFFERINGS

Deluxe Coach, Open Window, Lounge, and Family Table Car Tables, which can seat four guests each, are available. Children three years of age and younger who do not occupy a seat ride free in Deluxe Coach only. Lounge tickets are reserved for guests 18 years of age or older.

Family Table Tickets can only accommodate four guests per table, and additional single tickets cannot be added. For additional seats, guests must purchase an additional Dining Car Table.

All tickets are individually priced unless specifically referenced or otherwise marked. ADA-specific seats are available in Deluxe Coach only.

Passengers may bring their own personal food and non-alcoholic drinks. Pets are not permitted, but service animals are welcome.

THE FINE PRINT 

Tickets are automatically emailed to passengers upon checkout and are not sent via any other means. Guests are advised to double-check their email address for accuracy before completing their purchase and to check their spam or junk mail folder if they don’t see the confirmation email.

Parking, boarding, and safety information are included with every purchase confirmation. Your review of this information is essential to ensuring an enjoyable experience.

Passengers wishing to travel together should book their tickets as part of the same reservation and under the same name. Refunds or exchanges are only available 30 days or more before travel. In place of refunds, credits for future travel and experiences are offered. Due to their historic nature, only select cars are ADA accessible. Due to the historic and vintage nature of our rolling stock and locomotives, we reserve the right to substitute motive power or equipment if necessary. All trains run rain or shine.
