THE EXPERIENCE

Indiana Railroad Camp welcomes young adults ages 13–17 for an immersive, hands-on introduction to the world of railroading. Open to scouts and the general public alike, participants work side-by-side with career railroaders, preservationists, and educators to explore freight and passenger operations, railroad safety, history, construction, model railroading, and both modern diesel-electric and historic steam locomotives.
