THE EXPERIENCE

The Reindeer Run is a new holiday excursion designed to bring the magic of Christmas directly to the small towns served by the Indiana Rail Experience and the Indiana Northeastern Railroad.

Shorter in duration than the flagship Indiana Christmas Train, the Reindeer Run is a one-day-only community celebration that combines a festive one-hour train ride with local holiday activities.

The 2026 launch begins on Thanksgiving weekend, with stops in Edon, Ohio, Ashley/Hudson, Indiana, and South Milford, Indiana. Each community will host the train for a single day, creating a traveling holiday tradition across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Each excursion will last approximately one hour and operate behind a historic diesel locomotive.

Guests in Deluxe Coach will enjoy a festive holiday train ride featuring Christmas music, seasonal decorations, and visits from Santa Claus.

First Class guests will enjoy reserved private table seating for up to four guests, complimentary holiday refreshments, and an enhanced onboard experience.

THE OFFERINGS

Deluxe Coach and First Class tickets are available for this event.

All tickets are individually priced unless specifically referenced or otherwise.

Children three years of age and younger who do not occupy a seat ride free. We do not count children under the age of three towards seat counts at tables, so guests will be responsible for ensuring there is appropriate lap space and room for their infants.
